A reader in Upstate New York asks: “What do the initials E. B. in your name stand for?”
This is a question that comes up frequently. And I am always tempted to reply with a quip or something unexpected. Like “E. B. stands for Every Book.” And, an extension of that would be “Even Better.” I really like the Every Book answer. But the truth is that the E stands for Eugene. A middle initial I share with my father. And the B stands for Bronson. Which I share with Charles. The name Bronson is of English origin. And not very popular. It is # 703 on name popularity charts. But I like it.
So, if you want an easy way to remember my name, ‘Wright = writer’ is a good start. And…‘Every Book, Even Better’…is a slam-dunk!
